I’m so excited to share the story of J & B’s beautiful destination wedding in Sint Maarten as my first blog! I get to witness some amazing love stories, being a wedding photographer, but this one at the stunning Sonesta Maho Beach Resort was so special. Let’s dive into the highlights of their unforgettable day!

Our adventure kicked off in Halifax as we made our way to the tropical paradise of Sint Maarten. Traveling in April was perfect—warm weather, sunny skies, and just the right amount of breeze!

Sonesta Maho Beach Resort is like a dream come true for a beach wedding venue. With its breathtaking beachfront, and luxurious vibe, it was the perfect spot for J & B’s celebration! The turquoise waters and green palms of Maho Beach were the ultimate backdrop for their ceremony and reception.

J & B’s wedding day was filled with love, laughter, and a ton of memorable moments! Here’s a peek into their special day:

The day started with capturing all the excitement and nerves as J & B got ready. The bride’s room was buzzing with joy as she and her bridesmaids prepped, while the groom and his groomsmen were full of jokes and good vibes!

The beachside ceremony was straight out of a fairy tale. J & B exchanged their vows under a gorgeous arch decorated with tropical flowers, and the soothing sound of waves in the background.

After the ceremony, we took advantage of the stunning golden hour hidden in a more private area above the cliffs for some portraits. The vibrant Caribbean colours and natural beauty of Sint Maarten made for some amazing shots. J & B’s love and happiness were evident in every photo, capturing their joy perfectly!

The reception was an outdoor affair under the twinkling lights, with tropical decor setting the mood. J & B shared their first dance under the stars, surrounded by loving family and friends. The evening was filled with heartfelt speeches, delicious food, and SO MUCH dancing! It was a blast capturing all the candid moments and genuine emotions of the night!
