As your wedding photographer, my job is more than taking photos. It’s creating an environment where you feel comfortable, supported, and unhurried.
From quiet moments in the morning to the energy of the reception, I’m there to keep things flowing naturally without over-posing or pulling you away from your guests! Couples often tell me the day felt effortless, and the photos reflect that.
I’m based in Nova Scotia and photograph weddings throughout Halifax and the surrounding areas. Whether you’re planning a coastal celebration, an intimate gathering, or a full wedding day with family and friends, my focus is capturing the moments that matter, the ones you’ll feel years from now.
Alongside local weddings, I also photograph destination weddings and elopements. That travel experience brings a calm adaptability to every wedding I photograph, helping things feel smooth even when plans change.

My experience with Renee Michelle Photography was amazing. We got to know each other during our engagement session, Renee captured photos even more beautiful than I had dreamed. When working with her on our wedding day, Renee brought nothing but positive vibes and creativity when a thunder storm rolled in. She captured absolutely stunning photos, and knew exactly how to shift gears when the weather wasn't working in our favour.
